Hi there,
Can any of you super intelligent bods furnish me with the part No for the throttle position sensor, mines got a dead spot at 1400-1600rpm,a right pain in butt,or failing that a supplier who charges a sensible price.
Regards Vic

What makes you think its the throttle position sensor, have you have it on a diagnostic machine, there are neumerous things that could be causing it.

If you have not had it on a machine, i would recommend it as money spent on that will save you money in the long run, if you just start changing parts.

An independant should charge about £40 for a check, alot more at the dealer.

Hopefully some one on here may read this and have a faultmate and offer their services.

Just put a multimeter across it and measure the resistance. Make sure there is a smooth transition across the whole range. I believe the readings are in the Rave.
