Well, three warning lights as shown in pic. I drove to a wee party this afternoon; no alarms. Had a few too many to risk driving home so let my better half drive home. Hey presto! Three alarm lights:-
The general fault, or read the effing manual light.
Brake warning light.
ABS warning light.
I’m too ****ed to go investigate in the cold, dark, ****ing rain. Will have a look tomorrow.
Suspect brake fluid level or wheel sensor disconnected. Any other ideas welcome. (No brake pad wear sensors on this car)

If your better half drives like mine, it might just be the vehicle is as scared as the passenger....and is trying to get them to slow down ;)

Or it might just be something simple like a brake pedal sensor...
 
On starting the car this morning the only warning light was the ABS. The dashboard display was also telling me “Terrain Response Not Available”. Sure enough, none of the modes were illuminated and turning the knob to the mud/snow/ruts/sand/gravel/etc had no effect. HDC didn’t work either.

Plugged in my OBDII reader and read off the diagnostic codes. Sure enough, ABS module “Not Available”.
I cleared the codes, restarted the car and read the fault codes again. All clear (except for the glowplugs). Took it for a test drive and tried all terrain modes; no issues. Tried HDC on a steep bit of road; no problem. Tried an emergency stop; road was wet and the ABS worked as it should. Repeated several times without any warning lights or codes appearing.

So it’s either an intermittent fault or her ladyship did something weird when she started the car. Double stab on the starter button or slippy foot on the brake pedal interrupting the start cycle diagnostics?
Whatever, all seems back to normal but I’ll be keeping an eye on it.

Looks like the right rear wheel sensor is faulty and triggering the rear diff & terrain response faults. I wish it wasn’t raining so hard ☹️

I’m drenched.
Had the wheel off and the sensor and cable looks undamaged. How do I get to the plug end? Is it under the wheel arch liner or do I have to dismantle most of the boot internals?

Can I drive the car safely? Everything seems to work except Terrain Response and HDC.

It appears to have fixed itself!
Over three weeks since it last appeared. All I've done is make and remake a plug'n'socket connection on the RH side of the boot (I have no idea if that's relevant).
Anyway, the faults has, for the time being, gone away.
All the Terrain Response modes still work, HDC still works, ABS and DSC still work. I know the DSC still works as I hit a bit of flood water, the car gave a wobble, and the DSC light came on; presumably because one wheel aquaplaned.

Frustrating because I haven't found a definite fault and fixed it.
Relieved because the problem has gone away as it's to effing cold, wet and miserable to go crawling around underneath wheel arches looking at sensors.
