Had a thought earlier, I have the three amigos on and when I had it plugged into a Hawkeye a while back rear nearside wheel sensor came up, now when i had it plugged into the same Hawkeye last week (for a different problem) there where no codes, even though the three amigos are still there ????.
Now my thought is that if there is a problem somewhere does this mean that the abs, traction control, and hill decent will not work properly and that going off road could cause problems (i.e. Stuck).
Still getting used to all the electrickary on the Disco 2, more used to my old 200Tdi,
Thank you
Bill.

Hi Bill,
The three most common causes for the amigos are 1) Faulty hub bearing 2) faulty abs sensor 3) Faulty shuttle valve (Do a search for SVS mod)
Also, be aware that after clearing the fault codes you need to drive the vehicle as well to reset.

Hi
thanks for that but i would still like to know if i have a wheel bearing fault for example does this mean the traction control will not work even though they are not connected ??.
I have read up on the shuttle valve mod and it looks like the way to go, but will have to find a auto electrician as due to injury (and being dense about electrickey) not able to do it myself.
Bill.

Nice one Fella :), got that saved to laptop so wont lose it.
Looks well within my capabilities and so much easier than other mods i have read, just one (well two) questions, should I replace the rubber boots while i have it apart and what setting do you have the multimeter on as it is not clear in the photos ??.
Thanks Bill.
