Hello,

Picking up a 1997 Disco 300Tdi next tuesday and will be our first Landy.

Now, we've bought many cars in the past, and obviously there are certain checks one does when buying any car ( I'm not going to bother going through them).

However, are there any things in particular i should look out for that's more relevant to Discos of this age?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

rust rust and more rust !!
check boot floor inner outer cills
inner wings
even if its got a good service history , that wont stop the rust !
there is a huge fred on here about this subject do a search !
