..... tut tut, you lot, some of your minds need cleaning out....... of course I was on about the EAS compressor pump. ;)

For a few weeks now I have been having intermittant EAS problems having to reset the faults. If on long runs it had been fine, but after shorter runs and a few changes of heights the fault would start and it could take up to 20 mins to get up to normal height from down on the bump stops, the pump was quite noisy as well.

Got hold of a reconditioned pump and fitted it yesterday, had a few short journeys yesterday afternoon and evening and gone to work today and back and it changes height within seconds both down to motoway setting and back up to normal rather than the few minutes at times with the old pump.

Now I can strip the old pump down and replace the seals, etc and keep it as a spare (after testing it).

It does not matter how much you pay for fancy gen III this and that, or how many clever electricary valves and circuits you can muster that are working perfectly. Without compressed air they are as useful as tits on a Mars bar. :D:D:D
