Is this Jaguar Land Rover hedging their bets - the production of the Discovery is moving from UK to Slovakia next year, allegedly to make way for a new wave of Range Rovers, which from memory, we were told recently, are already selling fewer diesel cars than expected. Is this to do with Brexit ? There will be job losses say JLR this afternoon .

My guess was that they the need space for the Defender replacement production line. If you have bugs to sort out in a new model you'd want it close to home, and by contrast I'd guess that the Disco is now sorted and has also the longest remaining model life at the mo.
