Hi, sorry to drag this up again.. I’m at the point where I’m ready to start putting big bits together (only taken 4 years so far..). I’ve a new Richards chassis and I’ve decided to purchase a set of GB parabolics to go with it. The chassis has orange poly bushes already fitted but I’m not sure which supplier were used (chassis is nearly two years old. I know that gb’s don’t suggest poly bushes but I will be doing very low mileage a year and don’t intend to be carrying heavy loads/ severe off reading etc. Question is , what are the bushes in the chassis and which ones should I fit to the springs... thanks!!

Not an answer to your exact question, but given that the poly bushes are in the chassis I would be inclined to assmeble with those for now. I'm not a fan of poly bushes and much prefer the metalastic, but the polybushes are 100x easier to get out so you loose nothing by running them for a while, getting the metalstics into (and possibly out of) a new galv chassis could be a pig. The life of the poly bushes is not that great so you will have another chance to decide in a while.
