Hi Guys,
I just rebuilt a TH400 for my chevy truck. I un-installed the old one
and installed the one I just rebuilt. The tranny shifts properly when
it's cold. But, when I drive it for a while (10 minutes), third gear
slips. What could possibly causing this. I went through the whole
tranny replacing what needed to be replaced. I did not see any hard
parts damaged. I am getting ready to drop the valve body and replace it
with the old tranny's valve body. I will go through it and see if this
helps. Any advice will be appreciatted. Thanks guys !!!!1

Leak in valve body or a damaged seal on 3rd gear clutch pack during
rebuild. Not much else to cause this.
