Hi,
Recently been skiing in Austria and used the snow/ice terrain response setting quite a few times.
Since then, I have noticed the terrain response is in snow/ice mode even though I havent selected it. this has happened about 8 times.
Do you know why this is happening please..??

I have also noticed that the take up when changing gear, sometimes seems to have a slur about it. As though it slips and catches up. I had a new clutch about 5-7 years ago and havent really done any off roading since then, so would be surprised if I need yet another new clutch.

Just before I went skiing, I had the glow plugs changed at a Land Rover dealer/service department. I know they have to remove significant amounts of the car/engine to get at the glow plugs. Could they have loosened something when they were doing that?

Timing belt was also changed about 5-7 years ago - but would have to double check on the exact date and mileage.

Manufactured in 2007 - one of the early ones.
I have about 230,000km on the clock.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Many thanks
H

I've read that it remembers a frequently used setting, to help out, but I can't remember where I read it now, or how to stop it.

Thank you very much for your answer.
Maybe when the outside temperature gets warmer for x amount of days, then maybe it removes it from memory.
Hopefully that's the reason :)
Roll on warmer weather - lets hope the problem goes away.

It's a random thing that happens which no one knows why they do it. Mine has occasionally chosen a different terrain response option to normal driving mode, when first switched on. Just put it back to where you need it to be each time.
