My 2002 3.0td won't get up to temperature and it only blows cold air! Is it as simple as changing the thermostat or more complex?
If it the engine not getting up to temp, then it is more than likely the thermostat stuck open.
If the engine gets up to temp, but no hot air from the heating then it is likely stuck heating system valves.
Replacement of stat is a bit of a faff on the Td6 but doable by the diy'er.
Download the RAVE manuals, it is all in there.
Can be found in the tech archives, linked at the top of the Range Rover forum....I would link but I am using my phone at the mo and is difficult!!Where are the rave files?

Would fixing the thermostat sort my cold air issue as well or is that a separate issue? If it the engine not getting up to temp, then it is more than likely the thermostat stuck open.
