I am trying to sort out the niggle bits of putting 3.9 v8 into me 90 and the temp sensor don't match up to the gauge inside so it reads it should have gone pop after 5 mins of driving? What temp sensor will be the same thread and match the gauge? Or can I put a resistor in line?

what was the original engine? do you still have the original temp sender? the easiest way to get round the problem is a thread adapter

It was a 2.5 td. Where can u get one of them from?

i'm not sure what the thread sizes are but i will do a little research for ya

Thankyou it looks the same diameter but one has fine thread and other course.

check out steve parker he will have the right sensor and or thread adaptor just mail him asd he will sort for you.
