first of all driver side turbo has been replaced and it did need replacing oil coming out of it etc, actuator was stuck then we freed it any way that’s another story!!

now when we replaced the turbo this took away the pre existing codes related to the actuator etc then this brand new code came not long after.

the code erased only once when we took the intercooler pipe off and on,coincidence or just random could we of knocked anything underneath whilst doing this.

code will not erase now.

code will come on without turning the engine on,just turn the ignition and bang it’s there.

We have also replaced the upper right intercooler hose pipe this had a huge tear massive tear.

Map sensor has been replaced (we saw on a snap on diagnostic live data this was not performing as it should)

we have smoke tested to try and find more issues with any other hoses.does not seem to be that.

We have retested both actuators visually inspected and commanded on diagnostic so that rules that out.

next step now is to take the manifold off and strip down recheck the EGR.

My friend is a gifted mechanic at the minute we have been doing a process of elimination, but so far this investigation is moving to a further strip down.

Looking forward to hear anyone who has experienced this before.
