hi guys

Had some juddering on the range rover vogue td6 so I took it for diagnostics at my local garage. it has come up with code P1260 delivery fuel pressure monitoring. The garage don't know what it means as they don't have much dealings with Range rovers. anybody know what it means please its all Chinese to me.:multiply:

Either the Fuel Pressure Switch is dicky or the Secondary Fuel Pump mounted on the outside of the tank is getting weak (Common Fault on the TD6)

The In Tank Pump (Lift Pump) has been known to fail also, but not as commonly as the little pump hidden under a small hatch on the outside of the tank!

The 6th was nearly perfect pressure. Injectors are around £200 each new are they not?
So it might have been, but if 5 have worn out, the 6th cannot be far behind. I've no idea of the new price of injectors, but can they not be reconditioned?

You can use second hand ones available from various BMW's which share the same injectors

£200 sounds rather cheap for new ones. Refurb ones are usually £150+

About £114.00 each from Diesel Jones. Don't know if that's new or refurbed exchange. All the BMW common rail injectors seem to be around that price. So somebodies had their arse felt at £200.00 each. :D:D:D

Recon are about £150 normally I got to from eBay out of a 525d for £40 each and they worked perfectly the one I got done at an indie was £200 fitted for a recon and it lasted exactly 13 months , indie said it was out of the 12 month warranty but he'd change it for the price of another recon one with no labour .
