Can any one shed light on my problem, disco td5 stalled on me other day , and took forever to get going again , finally got it going but now it sounds like it running on only 3-4 cylinders, changed injector seals while back, changed injector harness yesterday after looking at threads on here, no oil in loom from rail to ecu, also have to keep throttle flat to floor to get it going!! Any suggestions please

Thanks guys , changed fuel, air, airflow meter, air temp sensor still same fault!!

But you haven't changed the crankshaft position sensor - it won't run any sense at all if that sensor isn't sending the correct signal to the ecu....

It's in at mates garage at moment, so i"ll tell him your suggestions before we go down the expensive injector route, will keep you posted!!

purge the sh*t out of it several times before you try to start it again...and dont touch the throttle while you crank it

Well guys, sorted my problem! mate plugged disco onto his new modus diagnostic computer and it can up with fault saying that No.5 injector faulty, changed for new one , put in new code for it and it fired up on first click of key just like it used to!!No more faults recorded! Happy again apart from being few hundred pounds lighter!! Cheers guys for your suggestions!!
