Think this must be part of the problem.
I'd take it back to whoever did the rebuild and get them to do it again.
Did that all was good.
Its a 2000 model
OK, it's probably a 10P engine then. Mine did something very similar when the MAF played up, but mine is a 16P (2004). I don't believe the MAF is used in the same way on the 10P.

I have changed the maf still dose it have had it on the scan tool cant see anything
Seriously, the MAF has feck all to do with this.
Disconnect it and it'll drive as it ought to anyway.
If any sensor is likely to cause the engine to not pick up, until your foot has been planted to the floor for a while, it'll be the MAP/IAT.
Ask me how I know!
But this would only be true if the motor did the same in first gear!
So I suspect the gearbox.
