Hi, I've got a twisted defender which has been having a slight problem with turbo boosting, found problem laying down to air box elbow pipe which must be collapsed, however Im looking for a replacement / upgrade pipe to fit so same problem won't occur again, I've seen one that ALIVE do however they say you need to run a oil catch tank on the top breather pipe, anyone know what or how I need to do this, thanks

instead of engine breather pipe running into filter to turbo pipe you fit breather to a separate oil catcher tank/bottle

no, normally engine breather is fed back into inlet so is burned in the engine thus reducing emissions, catch tank just has a breather to atmosphere and catchers any oil ,though you could find somewhere on inlet side ie before turbo to plumb breather pipe to, some use a oil catcher inline with normal breather set up so as to remove oil from the gasses before it re-enters intake, but is only necessary if engine passes a lot of oil through breather
