I am currently sorting out a few bits on my 90 and I thought while I had my head under the bonnet I would have a quick at the lighting. I read somewhere that the TD5 come with a loom near the front to wire in front spots and another in the dash to wire in a switch for the spots. Out of memory the reason for this is the lights will then dip with the full beam without a bundle of relays and tapping lines (so it’s taken care by the central controller)!
Well I can not see the loom, did I dream this information or can somebody tell me where the loom is in the engine bay (I have a 2004). Not installing spots now but will be in the future.

With the power of another coffee, I have just noticed a pair of cables next to the near side front head light, black and orange/black, Could this be it as it is not connected to anything?

I have pulled off part of the dash and can see a number of plugs for the back of the switches taped back but not sure what they are for, any idea anybody, I don’t have any electric windows, mirrors, heated seats or spot lights!

Thank you for the link, great info there, unfortunately I could not find any info on the plugs I found in the car. The document was actually from 1997 so I guess these cables and plugs options came in with the TD5.
