So I service my TD5 today as I have loads of times before, started the engine and proceeded to dump 5ltr of my new oil onto the drive. The bloody gasket on the oil filter had moved. This has never happened to me before. I was really . The fun of self maintenance.

Which filter? How did it manage that?

It must have caugh on the thread as I squeezed it into place I don't think it could have been seated properly. Bearmach filter
