Hi,
I have a tuned map from a friends Defender Td5 and we'd like to know if it is possible to upload the tuned map on my defender ?

I've heard that it could not be done, but we 'd like to try but are afraid of messing op the ECU.

When I had mine remapped, the guy copied and saved my original settings prior to installing the new ones. That way he could restore them had I not been happy with the remap.

I believe that the map includes the unique Identity of the ECU and just copying the mapping from another ECU wont work. Thats why it costs to have it done properly as the peeps doing it know what to change and where. Other wise we'd all chip in and share a map.
