Bought my first Landy a few months ago and love it, but a couple of days ago it was started choking a bit and then when coming to a stop it cut out and wouldn't start. It turned over but wouldn't fire, then the battery went flat
Got the rescue crew out and he was an old school mechanic who got it started.
The fuel is getting to the engine fine, so he thinks there must be something blocking the injectors as it still feels like it is struggling when you push the accelerator half way down, but then when you push further it seems ok ?
Any ideas of what the problem is and how to fix ?
I am a novice and have read about checking the ECU connectors for oil, but I don't know where it is located
Any help would be most appreciated

look under drivers seat, the ecu has a red plug on it, pull plug off, if its got oil in the plug the injector harness needs changing, the oil causes lots of problems including missfires, the injector loom isnt expensive

I had exactly the same thing with my TD5 I was surprised the oil traveled down the loom that far. I paid about £50 for a new Injector loom. then I had to clean out the ECU about 3 times but now it's fine.
