Hi there. I put my Disco TD5 into 1st the other day. When releasing the clutch there was a clunk and then no drive. I tried changing to low/high ratio but still no drive. Had to get transported back home and when putting it on the loader, the handbrake had also stopped working? Does anyone have any idea what happened? The clutch did need to be pressed quite hard to the floor when changing gear prior to it

As you probably know the hand brake is actually a transmission brake. If it's not holding, and worked before, to me it means something has gone from the rear prop shaft rearwards.
The other problem sounds like the clutch itself, but those in the know will be along soon.
