I was working on replacing my Injector Seals and washers and I accidentally dropped the copper washer into the hole where my finger is. I've been using a copper wire to try to fish it out. Does anyone know where this hole leads to?? I've been looking at the pictures of the bottom of the Head .. and this doesnts show where it can goto.

Any Ideas? BTW, the washer in the injector hole isnt the one i dropped.

Into the cylinder ya silly billy

bendy straws that kids like & tape it to a hoover or duck tape turned out the sticky way made into a rod.

Or do as a local lad done when he dropped a 10mm nut into a cylinder ran it until the rattling went away o_O

I'm pretty sure this doesn't go into the cylinder. It's between the injectors and the head looks like this.

Me thinks its just an oil gallery, put kettle on, relax deep breath etc

Can you see the washer? (dental / inspection mirror / phone with torch on and video etc)
reverse gaffa on end of stick etc..... or by a small flexible grab claw tool

Could always get a cheap endoscope from amazon (£15) etc some have a grab claw on end etc
grab claw on amazon is about £3.00

just take yer time buddy,

I still had a fuzzy head when I first seen this I think I read it wrong & misunderstood what was posted lol

I think you are right sir its not in the cylinder :)

Am I missing something here.. how could the copper washer that is meant to be in at the bottom of the injector sleeve have dropped through? or have you dropped a smaller copper washer from something else into the injector sleeve? I'm confused

Ahhhhh your pointing at the hole at the back... not very clear on the picture... Is that not one of the oil channels? Its had to be a non-ferrous washer eh.. sods law.. you know your luck if you leave it, will work its way out with oil flow, find its way somewhere in the cam shaft workings or worse and you'll find it all squashed next time you take the rocker cover off to find out why your engine died..
