I have a 2002 disco with 120,000 on the clock, can any one diagnose my gear box problem?
Gear selection is fine going up the box but when I try to come down to second gear the syncro whines and will only engage when I'm nearly stopped? Also when I'm in reverse gear if I dip the clutch the disco will not free wheel' it seems to break and comes to a stop ? Is this all sounding terminal or could the clutch need bleeding?
I've only had the vehicle 4 months and its cost me a fourtune, I wish I'd kept my 300 it didn't give me an ounce of truble in 5 years.:doh:
