Hi all.
As per the title I am having a clear out and have lots of odds and sods for the TD5 engine and also some Defender related stuff that needs to go. I'm not looking for silly money so no sensible offer refused. Message me and I'll let you know if I have anything you might want.

Off the top of my head I defo have the following:

TD5 inlet manifold - dirty but in good condition x 4
TD5 10p cylinder head - used but in good order no injectors.
TD5 10p pistons x 15 - used but perfectly servicable
TD5 15p egr cooler - brand new never used
TD5 air con compressor - brand new never used
TD5 15p egr valve assembly - brand new never used
TD5 turbo heat shield - brand new never used
Air con radiator electric fan - used

Those are the major parts but I have dozens of other small bits and bobs so worth asking if you are looking for something in particular. Over the past 12 years or so I have broken at least three TD5 defenders that were beyond saving economically.

I intend to try and get enough cash together to purchase and refurb a disco transfer box to go on my Defender. If you have one for sale message me.

I am in the Woking Surrey locality so if you want to save on postage that can be arranged.

Do you have a pair of Driver & Passenger side mirrors available? Got some minor issues with mine and if not too much I could do with replacing them to tart the Disco up a bit.

Sorry not really got any Disco body parts. Mainly just Defender. I don't think the mirrors are the same as on the Defender as the Disco but I know Defender ones are dirt cheap so I did not keep any. Thanks for asking though and if you decide you need any mechanical bits just ask.
 
How much for the AC compressor - might be useful as a spare for me.

Would be an expensive way to collect spares mate. You would be better getting a used one from a breakers for probably under £100.
Non OEM new are nearly £400 if they have any and double that from LR but my local dealer says they are on indefinite back order which means they cant get them.
This one came off my replacement military auction TD5 engine with a genuine warranted 3 miles delivery only showing on the clock and paperwork.
I'd have to ask £240 plus postage given they are getting rare or I'd swap it for a decent TD5 disco transfer box if you have one.
 
Bump. Going to have a proper clear out so loads more good stuff coming online. PM me if you are looking for any Defender or TD5 related parts. I'll also be selling my TD5 90 CSW in the next few weeks as I have to move house and downsize so I'm going to keep the SWB 2a as a toy as I'll have nowhere to keep two Landys and a Scooby. I've got a good fan (the one that goes in front of the radiator under the bonnet) sitting on the shelf.

I also have a used DMF. The DMF has a few signs of blueing from normal use but other than that is in good working order. It came off a seized TD5 (oil pump failure) with about 55k miles. I can send you some pics tomorrow if you let me have your email. I also have a used clutch cover which I will throw in with the DMF.
Its a heavy old lump so would cost a bit to post out.
 
You can have the DMF and fan for £100 plus the postage. They are no use to me as once my TD5 sells I wont need them. If you take them I'll also let you have the compressor for £100 plus the postage. Its brand new and only done 3 miles before it was taken off a new engine and stored. My TD5 had a duff compressor but I got rid of the air con when I fitted thge new engine and never bothered fitting the compressor which was going to be used for onboard air. I'll take some pics tomorrow. I'm off out to the pub now so have a look and see what you think. Cheers Steve
 
Hello mate. I've not had time to get any quotes as I got dragged off at work on an emergency plumbing job. I'll need to knock up a crate or something to put the flywheel in before I know the final weight for the courier. Its looking like it will weigh about 25kgs all in. The fan can go in a cardboard packing box and I'll sort something out for the compressor. Are you OK to hold on for a few days until I get it sorted?

Also looking for a 90 van type headlining no alpine windows and front liner, rear safari door catch, td5 clocks? (Ordered some but not certain they've been delivered are late tbc) erm interior sunvisors/rear view mirror, any rear seats? Rear wiper/door loom

Bonnet stay (puma bonnet not sure if diffirent)
And long shot a tdci heater intake duct? And tdci heated seat loom?

Sorry mate I've not got any tdi stuff. All the bits I have are TD5 Defender. No clocks left except a turbo boost gauge that fits the TD5 dash. I dont have the rear wiper loom but do have a wiper motor and arm if it helps?
