Hi All,

A strange thing has started to occur with my 2006 reg TD5 Defender fuel gauge.
The tank is about full, this is confirmed when starting the engine. Then when I have driven a few miles the fuel gauge starts to slowly drop towards zero.
After switching off the ignition for a few minutes, then restarting the engine the gauge returns to the about full reading.
The only thing I have done over the last week was to give the underside of the vehicle a good under sealing with waxoyl.
Has anybody has experience of this problem
