hi. i have a 01 plate td5. last year when i changed the fuel filter it was a pig of a job to get the new one to seal. kept leaking. any one got any tips . many thanks.

Check the seal on the threaded centre stem. They get stuck on there and if you put another one on without removing it it can give problems.

I agree with above left old seal on.
Have you over tighten it, i only use hand no straps.
I always put a light smear of oil on new seal.
Have you got a faulty filter.
Let us know what you find
