Hi, can any one help? I am travelling in Portugal with a land rover Disco TD5 (1999) Auto ES. Everything going OK till yesterday. The engine management light came on and the two green gearbox lights flashed. The throttle went dead and the engine would only run at tick over. Switched off, re-started and all was fine. 4 or miles later same thing.
Have removed fuel filter. It was clean, but fuel was very hot!. Bled through and restarted.
Engine runs fine, no other problems.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
At present am miles from any main town, Faro is 150k,s away.
