Hi all my td5 disco is playing up when you open the door all ignition lights are coming on and then go off when the foot brake is depressed.can anyone shed any light on this. I can also turn the ignition key to the off position and remove the key but the engine continues to run until the brake is depressed,then the engine stops. cheers adam.

You have a bad ground somewhere, just the engine ground cables.

checked earths and changed the battery still no joy!!!

check all under dash connectors and check the earths from the dash loom
