Ok, so my Td5 does not start.
I’ve got:
- running fuel pump
- working injectors
- no air
- working starter
- 11.5V on the ignition red-white wire when going to pos. III.
- no volts on the wire on the starter side.
- bleeping when turning the ignition (did it also when it still started).
- Fobs are working (I think)
- Start relay changed from a working Td5, did not help.
I suspect it has something to do with the immobilizer as the starter does crank when I hot wire it directly from the battery.
I have tried to shut down the immobilizer with my hawkeye but it will not save the changes.
Hawkeye says ‘ignition off’ when my ignition is on. Probably the reason it will not save my changes within the 10AS programming menu.
Why does the current does not reach the starter solenoid?
Why doesn’t it start when hot-wiring the starter with ignition on, only starter turns but not fire?
Much appreciated!
