Hi all,
2003 td5 defender, taking bucket seats out shorted pos terminal on battery.
Now fuel pump relay under drives seat is constantly buzzing along with no amber lights on dash, also temp gauge is fluctuating,
Engine turns over but won’t start ???
Any ideas.

Check the main fuse links under drivers seat and other fuses, there is likely to be at least one blown,

Seems to be working again now, no blown fuses, I removed ecu, gave connection on red plug a good clean as oil traces on it.
Did an alarm reset and that seems to have cured it (for now)
