v reg td5 defender 56000 miles struggles to start,new injector washer and seals(gen),new intank pump(gen),replaced air flow(gen),injector stroke adjusted,removed exhaust from manifold,new air filter.No fault codes at all.
Engine turns over for about 20 seconds(sometimes longer) and starts to fire then eventually runs,revs and drives great with plenty off power and gets to 80mph no prob,swith engine of and the same thing happens.
This is the same wether engine hot or cold.

Is there any white smoke out the exhaust when cranking it over?
 
hi,no smoke while cranking only smoke is when it starts to fire but nothing excessive and when running no smoke.
 
not a landy expert by any means but in a normal derv glow plugs would be my first thought... have you tried double heating...
 
Wouldn't have thought so, you said it does it even when it's warm. Thats all the plugs do.
