Hi, I know it’s been worked through few times. But I need to know if am not missing anything from my parts list. Due to lack of availability of V8 torque converters for auto here where am located. I’m thinking of converting to manual. Previous owner put CDL leaver in, will it fit manual transmission?

Parts list:
-Manual Transmission
-Dual mass flywheel
-clutch and pressure plate
-spigot bearing bushing
-center console
-pedal assembly
-clutch master
-lines with pressure sensor
-additional wiring for ECU (clutch switch)
-ECU reprogramming auto to manual

Thanks in advance

Hi, the CDL lever is for the transfer box which remains the same....seems that you covered all the parts except that "ECU reprogramming" thing, sell your auto ECU and buy a manual one, the reprogramming is for the BCU

Okay, Thanks a lot for the answer, BCU I can do on my own with nanocom. Sometime ago I've read that CDL levers are different on auto and manual D2's but as you said it is the same. And new ECU with a tune to suit manual. Everything is gonna cost a fortune haha, maybe I will just look for manual D2.

The CDL linkages are the same if the previous owner fitted a D2 linkage - if they fitted a D1 linkage then the mounts are different between auto and manual as the D1 lever mounts to the gearbox.
