 I have just sold my ultra reliable P reg TDi (low mileage) disco and bought a 2001 TD5 adventurer against all better judgement and advice (some from this site) .I love the car but i may have a problem with the ace and have been informed that if it is completly shot the 900 ish quid cheaper option of repair is to fit coil springs ? has anyone done it and does it work ok. When the ace was working properly i have embaressed many a sports car on roundabouts and bends, what a wonderful if expensive piece of kit.
anyone got any advice other than buying back my old one ?
