But thought it worthwhile in here.

When I start my Td5 90 it screeches for 5 mins or so. Stops when warm
Could you guys give me a tip on the tops 3 things to check? I dont think its a belt, it sounds like its coming from the flowmeter side of the engine.

I had this noise on start up and it was the aux drive belt, also the tensioner was stuck and not tensioning properly.

I replaced the belt (can be done without removing the fan, it took me half an hour, ten minutes of which was trying to figure out how it went round the pulleys, after failing to make a note before removing the old one.....)

The tensioner freed off after l moved it back and forth a few times using a ring spanner.

Yours sounds like it may be something else but it is worth checking just in case.
