My 03 Freelander made a jolt when I put it into reverse. The revere lights turn on but does not click into gear. This is an automatic. The other gears work and the car drives normally in D: Help, please!!
This can happen if the wrong bolt is unscrewed when checking the gearbox oil level. Hopefully it won't be that, as it needs a (v. expensive) strip and rebuild to fix.
