so, put simply, how ?

The fluid is still a nice red colour, but smells a little burnt, a bit like being in a hydraulic lift motor room.

So I was thinking it could do with a change, but how/where do you drain the old fluid out ?

Or can you just syphon out of the reservoir time after time ?

slacken a pipe on pump or rack and keep refilling till runs clean
