G GROUNDHOG New Member Sep 25, 2007 #1 My 04 freelander TD4 (52k) has a suspicious amount of oil residue inside the top air intake pipe I suspect this could be an indication that the turbo seals are on the way out - anyone have any thoughts please?

L loatmead New Member Sep 25, 2007 #2 This is quite normal for a td4.To help matters you could disconnect the egr vave by pulling of the small pipe which connects to it and blanking it off with a screw.
