I'm looking for an oil cooler for my TD4 as it seems to have given up the ghost and is leaking oil into the coolant.

Whilst looking around for a new one I've come across the supplier below and they have some pretty cheap ones. However, they're all brands that I don't know and I'm definitely a believer in the "buy cheap, buy twice" adage, but I was wondering if any of these are "known" brands and the part supplied can be relied upon?

I bet they're all out the same factory, probably in China, so I'd buy the cheapest. Whatever you buy is bound to outlast the car.

Where'd you get yours from?

It is most likely going to be the seal on the oil filter which is fitted to the engine, have a quick read of these posts below it may help.

I got an OEM one from eBay. It was the only one I could find that had production codes stamped into the top plate. Non of the cheap ones I found had the stamped in numbers. However I wasn't convinced it was actually the oil cooler, as I couldn't find anything wrong with it. The sealing rubber gasket looked more likely to be the cause of the issues. Thankfully the new cooler came with that too. I think I paid about £100 for an OEM part, which came with the seals.
