Hi all, i've been a lurker for a while and found a wealth of information in the forums.

The clutch in my 54 plate TD4 manual has started slipping (60k) and i've been advised i need a new clutch.

i've been quoted £600 from the landrover centre in huddersfield but also £450 from landrovers.info based in rossendale. both allow for the replacement of the master and slave.

just wondering what other members think to the price quoted. I havent used or heard of landrovers.info before and while not local, they have offered my a courtesy car.

Thanks for that OP, i'll drop them a line and see what their estimate is but i'll plan on sticking with an independent regardless of their quote.

I was hoping there might be some forum members who could share their replacement clutch experiences/repair bill costs?
