Earle Brown from St Mary Jamaica.Glad to be on.I've learnt some but I have a 2003 Freelander TD4 which has started to give problems.Mine is similar to some that have already been posted.
I have difficulty starting after she has been left for a while and when she starts there is a puff of blue smoke.Runs fine after that but the idling is erratic and the engine is noisy.Replaced the fuel pump and filter..did not solve the problem and the exhaust emmissions are obnoxious.
No fault conditions on diagnostics has done 85000km.
She is off warranty and dont want to try the trial and error routine as it is expensive.Would like some one to give me a probable solution(s).
