Had the freelander in today and was told the thrum noise when changing to second gear is the gear linkage counter balance.

Car will need to go in for a full day, ever heard of this before??

the more i hear about the gaylander the more i think ,what a lot of bollocks' gear linkage counter balance;; wtf is that all about..
have you checked the ashtray auto full indicator warning bulb relay activator control arm adjustment sprocket valve??

Um. . .think ya gettin confused wiv the door fall orft mod awh 766664333321 or the wah3222176534 ,both do the same job really. . .

nah ming ah think yule find the door falling off mod was to cover the gaylander in plastic sheet when washing it
