In need replace the brake vaccum pipe that goes from the servo (red arrow) to a valve that I think is linked to the EGR in the and then down to the engine. I have the whole set of pipes as the came joined as a unit. Does the pipe simply pull off at the servo end?

Yes. It's held in place with the rubber ring. Pump the brakes to dissipate the vacuum, then pull the elbow while wiggling it, and it'll come out just fine.
