Hi,

I'm installing the original speaker box to the tailgate. My question is, is there additional amplifier on the tailgate for the speakers, or the harman/kardon amp under the seat provides the power? What sort of the signal goes from the amp to the tailgate unit, is it amplified one, or low-level like RCA?

I have a player with separate RCA output for the subwoofer. Now I don't know which way to go - use it, as separate channels or drive the sub from HK unit. Any advice?

Hi, you might want to pop over to 'Introduce Yourself' first!
There is a wealth of knowledge on here (Search Tab), let us know what your Driving, where you are (rough area!!),
Post your problem (we can see it) get the help! And let us know if it has helped! Or let us know if it was sorted by other means?
Strangely! it helps others with a similar problem!

PS: if it's stock? It's 'Billy Basics'??
Owners preferences after that!!

Hi, all the speakers are connected to the same amplifier under the seat

Thanks,

it seems I have a Disco-1 version with the amp attached to the speakers. No issue, will throw it away.

Anyone knows what the "Spatial" signal does to the H/K amplifier? I have an Alpine player, which do not have such option. Any idea what are the voltage levels, and does it make any sense to use it?
