Hi all it's been a while since my last post & I hope everyone is keeping well.
I want to replace the tailgate subwoofers (they're sounding very muffled) & can't find any that seem to be suitable (I ordered a couple of Lanzar MAX PRO 64's that will fit the original speaker casing, by modifying the speakers, but the magnets are too big for the hole in the tailgate & I don't want to cut the tailgate).
So if anyone knows of some direct replacement speakers (4 ohm 6.5" or 165mm & magnets that are 80mm dia.) I would really appreciate it (mine has the Hi-line system using Philips speakers).
Many thanks.

Beware aftermarket speakers are often not as sensitive as the LR OE originals - even if they have matching impedance - so aftermarket sound quieter than the rest of the OE system.
Those suggested by Sierrafery don't look bad at 91dB/W / might work OK.
I think I remember seeing some info on either my speakers or a forum a long time ago suggesting OE was 92dB/W - so they're not significantly different. I know from experience if you use speakers with eg 86~88dB/W sensitivity, they can be just a waste of money as you can't boost the volume to match the others - unless you change them all.
I replaced my rear door speakers with an Active Sub-woofer - which has an inbuilt amp., so you can adjust the volume relative to the rest of the system.

Thanks for the replies, didn't know I could use 3 way speakers I just presumed I needed dedicated subs to handle the low frequencies so that makes things easier :). I know my local Halfords sell FYI speakers so I'll pop in tomorrow & see what they've got.
Forgot to mention earlier or should I say "on another note" one rear passenger door tweeter & the two A pillar tweeters have stopped working  has any found a substitute for theses by any chance ? The 'A' pillar tweeters are NLA but the tweeters for the doors (all four the same) are available. Again many thanks & I'll let you know how it goes.
