Hi we have recently bought a 1965 2a for restoration and I have only driven it in the field recently and I was wondering if any of you know if it has synchromesh?

if its a real 11 or 11a box it will have syncro on 3rd and 4th only

series 111 box should have syncro on all forward gears

But hey, everyone should learn how to double de-clutch

My old Series IIA/III mixture has got a Series III box but it's best to double de-clutch in all gears because it's knadgered.

On the upside the S2 box is said to be stronger than a S3 box.

Synchromesh is for girls!! I am 17 and just started driveing on my series 1 soo i had to learn to double d clutch!! after 3 weeks i can now get it into first on the move almost everytime (not that you ever need it!)

i only got out about 4 times in the landy in 3 weeks tho!!
come on gotta be better than a dual control corsa

Oh yes, you gotta admit it Modo, the boy has a point there.

I mean, how bad can it get ... a dual control Corsa ......

It's almost disgusting to use words like that on a decent clean living list like this.

No its a 1952 series 1 80inch acculy not a toy! u can take the **** out of me as much as you want! but never say a bad word about my landy
