Hello,a bit confused over front suspension sensors.I have a 1996 P38 and have been told that I will have the older style front sensors that cannot be swapped round and it would appear I have an issue with the LF sensor. My confusion comes from me taking both sensors off and finding them to be exactly the same in every way, even what colour wires going to which pins and the bolts holes are on the sensor. Now my thinking is either for some reason I have the later sensors(which I don't think i do) or I have 2 right sided sensors fitted to the car(this would make sence as I have an issue with the LF sensor, maybe this is because it has a right sided sensor on it) I have searched the internet for pictures and part numbers and got nothing. So I have had an ebay search and found a few ads with what I believe are the same sensors I have.1 specialist range rover chap on ebay is selling 1 and claims they fit both sides, yet another is selling them saying they only fit 1 side(adding to my confusion). So the sensors I have are fixed to the car with 2 bolts(plus another on the chassis rail clearly) the wire loom is sealed at the sensor end, they are made by Dunlop and on the back has written COLVERN CP17/414 1K25M 14595. So do I have the earlier types as I should and if so how do I tell the difference between left sided and right?
