The vehicle has had a suspension lift fitted after the MOT advisory, would the corrosion have been rectified then?? Cheers John

TheVengefulElephant Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2008 #2 hmm, the way it's worded "component" leads me to believe that it was the actual sussy unit that was corroded, so fitting a new one would render it obsolete. Aren't they meant to mark the faults on a MOT anyway?

I would have said looking under the battery and at the suspension mounts for signs of welding/renewel would give you the quickest answer.
