Just about to fit new compressor on 2016 D4

I note the AMK compressor does not have tapped bosses. ( 3 fixings + temperature contact)

I am told the fixing screws ( 6 mm parallel threads) are effectively 'self tappers'

The boss holes are 5.5 mm.

Has anyone experienced any problems with screws becoming loose - does not seem much meat for threads ?. Can anyone confirm these are normally ' self tapper' fixings as above .. many thanks

That's pretty standard in automotive applications these days.

Many thanks for your response / help , the screws are not waxed but this would certainly align with supplied hole size . Thanks again
