hi all i have a freelander 1 hse 54 plate this has been done to death but i did not find a answer so hear goes have a leak more of a drip from the off/side corner of the sunshine roof i have checked the drain holes they are clear it seems that there is a certain amount of water that stays in the frame which i think is getting past a seal but i do not know what seal it is as there is two rubber seals one on the glass and one which is attached to the frame i am hoping someone out can help i am sorry if i have gone on a bit

Hi, you haven't gone a bit, but some full stops would help Sun roof leak/s. The metal frame rusts badly. This happens under the seal that fits around the entire glass. You could carefully peel the seal away, clean up the rust and treat it, paint it ... and reattach that seal using a polymer sealant. Apply it liberally to the underside tho fill up missing metal...

Mine was quite rusted, especially the passenger side as well as the front corners. This method seem to have worked well for me. Other than that, try to buy and fit a good / new replacement.
