please can someone help me and my mate, he has a landy and has gone off-roading but has got stuck, I know he shouldn't be alone but don't want it there overnight so anyone available to help tonight please? In Retford

Thanks in advance Matthew

Sadly the law doesnt care - if your mate has taken your vehicle somewhere he shouldnt then - well.... it's still your vehicle that gets slapped with the notice and your headache. :(

But if hes on a legal route I'll come drag you out no worries.

It's his own car so it's more funny, :)

It begs the Q - if he was on a valid BOAT, how did he get stuck and should he have driven it, bearing in mind the conditions?

I've been stuck on BOATs before when the ground was unexpectedly softer than you think half way along... if it's a legal road then s*** happens. After all regular cars get stuck in their thousands when the white stuff arrives...

He has down before it's a very rough track but has never failed before, but he knows now not to go alone so lesson learnt
